This is a team of animal lovers. And this is a team of people lovers, too. We don’t come in to work to punch a clock. To us, caring for your pet the way we would care for our own is a calling. Now it’s time to meat the people by your side.

Originally from Michigan, Dr. Vineyard left the Midwest and moved to San Diego to pursue her career in Veterinary Medicine. She has worked in several small animal practices in the San Diego area. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology as well as Animal Science at MSU. Dr. Vineyard is an active member of the American, California, and San Diego Veterinary Medical Associations as well as one of the very few Certified Veterinary Acupuncturists practicing in the San Diego area. She has a special interest in surgery, internal medicine, integrative medicine, chronic pain management and acupuncture.
Her passions include cooking, walking her energetic pups, and rooting for MSU sports teams. In her downtime, you can find her attending as many Bruce Springsteen concerts as possible!
She shares her household with her loving husband, Ben. The house is ruled by Mony (the wise springer/border collie mix), Wiggles (the always in motion Labrador… her name is very fitting), Skid Mark (a very sweet domestic shorthair), and Lucille Bald (a Sphynx that loves to cuddle, but also nibble on your ear).
When asked what her favorite part of her job is, she replied “Being able to share in the bond between pets and their people.”
Dr. Sarina Pacifici
Dr. Sarina Pacifici graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. She has had a passion for animals since she can remember, and made it her goal to become a veterinarian at an early age. She was drawn to general practice because of the diversity of cases with which she is presented, as well as the ability to build meaningful and lasting relationships with clients and patients. Dr. Pacifici was raised in Southern California, growing up alongside her family’s Boxer dogs. In her time off, she can be found spending time outdoors, cooking and enjoying yummy vegan food, and relaxing with Penny (her senior Boxer).
Practice Manager, RVT
Born and raised in Southern California, Lauren grew up on a small ranch- complete with horses, chickens, dogs, cats and lots of surrounding wildlife. At the age of 13, she got her very first job- pet sitting for a neighbor's pets while out of town. Pet sitting then grew into a small side "business" for her for many years, but most importantly it ignited and solidified her love for animals.
Both of Lauren's parents worked as medical professionals, so with a desire to follow in their footsteps and also fulfilling her destiny to care for animals, she started working at her first animal hospital in 2006. That same year, she enrolled in the Veterinary Technician program at the Professional Veterinary Assistant School. While juggling four part time jobs and attending school, she received the only "Perfect Attendance" award of her class at her graduation in 2010. She immediately completed the state board exam and received her Registered Veterinary Technician license. Lauren worked several years as an RVT at many veterinary hospitals in Orange County, then eventually grew into the Practice Management position. In addition to veterinary nursing, Lauren truly enjoys her role in management supporting her team as well as communicating with pet owners.
In the fall of 2020, Lauren started a new chapter and relocated to the beautiful county of San Diego. She and her fiancé bought their first home and currently have two kids: a toy-obsessed "Cock-Pit" mut rescue dog named Koda and a super sassy black "foster failure" cat named Rosemary. In her free time, Lauren enjoys singing, traveling, cooking, shopping and laughing with loved ones.
