I recently moved to LA to San Diego and are so happy we found Colony Vet Hospital for our pup! I was very nervous as our dog has extreme anxiety both when meeting new people and going to the vet - I made the staff aware of this before and they were so incredibly patient with her & knew exactly how to interact with her. You can tell everyone there is an animal lover. They are always on time with my appointments, and have quickly diagnosed a few issues that came up recently. They always offer a couple treatment plans with lower and higher cost options, which I appreciate so we can decide how to move forward based on the cost. They also answer any questions I have not matter how many I tend to have. Within a couple days I always get a follow up from the staff to check in on my dogs treatment and make sure she is improving. I will continue to use them for all of Billie’s needs, and will be recommending them to all of my friends!

I am so happy I found this office. I've lived in San Diego for 5 years and have been disappointed with a handful of vets in the area but Colony exceeds expectations. Every person I've interacted with has been friendly and knowledgable. They checked in with me pre and post appointment (I have never had an office call to make sure my dog was doing fine after their vaccines, this was above and beyond). They have good availability for appointments and they are so incredibly thorough. They noticed that both of my previous vets had missed updates on shots that my pet needed immediately. So grateful to the entire office!

Sarah, and her team at Colony, are incredible! Our family has been bringing Sunshine, our 14yr old border collie-mix, to Colony for 2yrs now and have always had an excellent experience. Sarah is a lover of older dogs and has really helped us develop a long term plan for taking care of Sunshine so that she remains healthy, happy, and active for as long as possible. There’s no one else in San Diego we would trust with the primary care of our fluffy lady.

Dr. Vineyard has been very thorough with our aging border collie and her recommendations are thoughtful. It’s very apparent she has a soft spot for elder dogs. We’ve been patients for 2 years and are happy with our experience.

I took my Cat there for a tooth removal and they were all so nice and caring. I felt very comfortable leaving my cat there even for the whole day. She's much better now and I couldn't be more thankful.

Dr. Vineyard and her staff are exceptional. We were clients for 3 years before my nearly 15 year old Puggle, Diesel, passed. From the front desk with a chalkboard welcoming your pet’s visit to the technicians in the back, they all obviously enjoy their jobs and love our fur babies. They were extremely kind and empathic when my dog became ill and I was a slobbering devastated mess. Dr. Vineyard was the best veterinarian my family ever had and we had been to many on both coasts.

Colony Veterinary Hospital has taken such great care of my Golden Retriever. They are thorough and really take their time to listen to what is going on with your pet. Their prices are affordable and they work very hard to get your pet scheduled the same day if there is an issue and you want to be seen. The follow-up is amazing, they really, genuinely want to know how your pet is and that things, such as a medication, are working after your pet leaves. Dr. Vineyard and her staff are kind, professional and generally great to be around, making my dog much more comfy during a visit and for anything that needs to be done. I would not take my girl anywhere else, the trust I have with Colony Veterinary Hospital and their care of my dog can’t be matched.
