Practice Manager, RVT
Born and raised in Southern California, Lauren grew up on a small ranch - complete with horses, chickens, dogs, cats and lots of surrounding wildlife. At the age of 13, she got her very first job - pet sitting for a neighbor’s pets while out of town. Pet sitting then grew into a small side “business” for her for many years, but most importantly it ignited and solidified her love for animals.
Both of Lauren’s parents worked as medical professionals, so with a desire to follow in their footsteps and also fulfilling her destiny to care for animals, she started working at her first animal hospital in 2006. That same year, she enrolled in the Veterinary Technician program at the Professional Veterinary Assistant School. While juggling four part time jobs and attending school, she received the only “Perfect Attendance” award of her class at her graduation in 2010. She immediately completed the state board exam and received her Registered Veterinary Technician license. Lauren worked several years as an RVT at many veterinary hospitals in Orange County, then eventually grew into the Practice Management position. In addition to veterinary nursing, Lauren truly enjoys her role in management supporting her team as well as communicating with pet owners.
In the fall of 2020, Lauren started a new chapter and relocated to the beautiful county of San Diego. In her free time, Lauren enjoys singing, traveling, cooking, shopping, laughing with loved ones and loving on her toy-obsessed “Cock-Pit” mut rescue dog named Koda.
